HomesRX founder is the only Top 10 individual honoree from Mississippi on a list whose combined 2025 production exceeded $5.7 billion

BRANDON, MS, UNITED STATES, October 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Dr. Zakk Varughese, broker and owner of HomesRX in Brandon, Mississippi, has been named one of the nation's top individual real estate producers by the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB). Varughese ranked No. 1 in Mississippi and No. 9 among individual agents and brokers nationwide on NAREB's 2026 Top 100 list, based on 2025 production.

The honorees were celebrated at the NAREB Top 100 Realtist Royale, held July 28, 2026, at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas during the NAREB 2026 Annual Convention. The awards recognize individual agents and brokers, teams, residential and commercial brokerages, and developers whose combined production surpassed $5.7 billion in 2025. The individual category ranks REALTISTS by total closed sales volume.

Varughese earned the ranking six years after entering real estate. Licensed in Mississippi in March 2020 and a licensed broker since 2024, he founded HomesRX as an independent brokerage serving Rankin, Madison and Hinds counties, including Brandon, Flowood, Pearl, Madison, Ridgeland, Gluckstadt, Canton, Clinton, Byram, Terry, Florence and Pelahatchie.

A REALTIST and member of NAREB, Varughese is a HUD-registered listing broker and holds the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) and Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) designations. He is the author of two books: "Breaking Barriers: Confronting Racism in American Real Estate," which examines discrimination in housing and what buyers, sellers and practitioners can do about it, and "Clarity Is Not Coming: Stop Overthinking. Know When You Know. Make the Decision.," a 2026 book on decision-making and the first title in his Clarity to Action series. He holds a Doctor of Education and an MBA and is a certified Project Management Professional and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

In October 2026, Varughese was named Chairman and President of the Gulf Coast Association of REALTISTS, a new NAREB local board serving the Biloxi, Mississippi area that was granted provisional status by NAREB's Region XII leadership. The board's mission is to expand homeownership opportunity on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and grow the number of REALTISTS practicing in the state.
